Marsha: "What Wilson's? My mother was a Wilson." Wilsons are my husband's and are Canada>Michigan>Indiana - probably no connection unless yours from either MI or IN. Coral Lynn: "Sorry, my JONES from Henry co. is Nathaniel JONES b.5 Jun 1846" - Oh well, they'll show up sooner or later: Re your interest in CALDWELL: I do not have an Andrew Caldwell in my database and it is not a common name in our line. All the CALDWELLs I have are believed to have come from NC or VA (don't really know). The earliest is William Caldwell (1791-1845). William and two of his brothers identified as Preston and Robert all came to Henry Co. TN and stayed. Re JOHNSONs (boy are they a trip! Almost as good as Jones.)) - Again, I know none in Hawkins/Hancock Co and don't have a Levi in my database. My (3) lines are: Line #1 George Washington Johnson (b ca 1820-25 d. 1890 Elkhorn, Henry Co. TN) -m- Martha Jane Foster. Came from VA about time of Civil War. Line#2 Peter Benjamin Johnson (b ca 1770 d aft 1866, yep he did live to almost 100, have old family notes and stories that remember him!) -m- Nancy Hubbard. Family came VA>NC>Henry Co, TN. Died Henry Co. I have this line back a long way. Peter's father was Gideon, who had 9 kids, but no Levi. Line #3 James H. Pleasant Johnson (b ca 1850, Carroll Co, TN d, bef 1915 in either Nashville or Henry Co, TN) -m- Ella Rowena Harrison. Looks as if we just share some common surnames. Thanks for checking.
