    3. Hello Everyone: Bobbie and I have just returned from a refreshing week-long trip to Wisconsin for her 30 year high school reunion and her family reunion. Both were very successful. We had a beautiful meandering trip down the Mississippi River shoreline, and a three day stay at a beautiful park near Moline, IL. Well, as the subject line indicates, some of us do not know how to spell cemetery! Now, I remember when I had to look it up to make sure how to spell it. This word is probably one of the most misspelled word in the English language. Cemetery has NO "A" in it. You might ask why I think it is so important. Well, who spends more time in the cemetery than a genealogist, other than those for whom it was created. We also write about cemeteries and the information that we find in them. So, I thought it might be a good idea to have everyone on the list look closely at how they are spelling this important word. I remember all too well at being embarrassed at finding out that I had misspelled a word for years until someone corrected me. I am not a great speller either, so I am not looking down my nose at anyone. And, more than one of you have misspelled it, so I am not pointing my finger at anyone special. Just remember all the vowels are "E's." CEMETERY Hope everyone has a great week-end! Dan -- Have I, therefore, become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
