Hi Jan, I'm looking for the husband of: Mamie (Minnie) Pearl McKenzie, b.11-1887 in Benton Co., d. 1914 in Benton Co. who married and had a child with an Unknown COLLIER. Mamie's parents, Jethro & Jane (nee BUTLER) McKenzie, tried to prevent this marriage by locking Mamie in her room. Supposedly escaped and married him anyway. She died a few years later, and I assume her COLLIER husband remarried. They had at least one child but have not been able to identify him. Mamie was Debby's great aunt. Other cousins in the area would be HERNDON, YOUNG, DOTY & HERRINs. Mamie's brother, Fred S. McKenzie, after marrying a WIMBERLEY, went over to Waverly and married a CATHEY.
