Stan, The cemetery is named the Dinkins Cemetery because Mr. Dinkins gave the land for the cemetery. He and his wife are basically the grandparents of the community. You can find them in the Stewart County Historical Book and in Godspeed (if my memory serves me). My husband is a decendant of theirs. I am not sure if everyone in the cemetery is related or not. It started out to be a family cemetery. I am not sure if it remained a family cemetery. I have heard stories that it did not. Just let me know who you are looking for, I might be able to help you.
