Dave, I do not have direct Collier or Doty ancestors, but they married in...examples: 1. Elizabeth Coller married Franklin Monroe Hatcher (1861-1925). This Humphrey Co. 2. Susan Colllier married Nathan Carroll Curtis (abt 1846-1912, Nathan is a Hatcher descendent). 3. Ila Mae Doty married James Edward Durham (1917-1964) and James is a Brake descendent. I am connected to both lines, shirt tail cousins, by being a Hatcher and Brake direct descendent.
