Dave: Quick note before you do anything with your problem. PowerQuest has a couple of programs that might bail you out. One is "Lost and Found" . It's a one time shot for just the computer your working with. Their phone number in case your interested is: 801-437-8900 or 1-800-379-2566. They have a web page: www.powerquest.com or lostandfound@powerquest.com. They are very helpful folks. Will work with you resolving your problem and even follow up with you in a couple of weeks. They also have a commercial version, which I use (because of a server and several computers ) and you can switch back and forth and use it on any system you own. Passing this along, because Microsoft 2000 corrupted 431 pages of one book I had written in the old "Wordstar" format. Recovered 99% of it. Hope this help a little.
