Hi Gena: YOU are on the right track: the fireman's name was George Smith Wheatley b1865 m Jennie Wheatley (her maiden name) Nov 18,1883 in Benton Co.Tn d abt 1925 in Erin Tn. in a switch Engin explosion they said his body went 20 feet up in the air. there is a article about it in the Library in Erin he was the son of James Knox Wheatley and brother od Duncan and Alex Scott "Matt" Wheatley. I have a lot more data on this family if you want it let me know. also I would like to have what you have on this family.
