This isn't meant to criticize anyone, but I have transcribed the tombstones in a cemetery near me and believe me it isn't an easy project. After doing this project, I can easily understand how a marker could get overlooked and some information not be totally correct that was taken from the old stones. I know I tried as hard as I could, since I was doing this because I wanted to, to get every stone, but the task isn't easy. Add to that the stones that you really have to work hard and use some imagination to transcribe. Some of the old stones, both marble and especially the handmade ones, are next to possible to read. I chose to do this because I know how much I appreciate being able to look on the Internet and see the names listed in cemeteries that would be impossible for me to visit. Just my two cents worth.
