Hi Ira, I live in Sacramento, CA. None of the story you told is familiar to me but I wanted to offer, that if you need someone to go a few places to check records here I hereby volunteer. The part of the adoptive mother having to let go the baby pulled at my heartstrings. Let me know if you need my help. It will be a little while before I can though. I sprained my ankle today.
