There may be folks on the list that are also researching these same families. I don't have any Dilday's in my database. I have a 104 year old cousin, William Robinson, who lives in Clarksville now that can tell you stories about Dr. Russell. It was Dr. Russell that invited him to go to the little Baptist Church where William was saved. He was boarding at Dr. Russell's while principle of the local school in the area. I'm the son of Donald Gene Dilday, grandson of Russell Hooper Dilday Sr. and great-grandson of Malcolm Dilday (I don't think it's the one interred in this cemetery). My uncle, Russell Hooper Dilday Jr., also is in Baptist work here in Texas. My grandfather was named for a doctor Russell. It's a good bet he's the one interred here An aunt, Ann Dilday Young, has visited or plans to soon visit this cemetery. She has done a lot of genealogical work for the family. If you have any family history of the Dildays that you would share, I would appreciate an e-mail. Family history is small because Malcolm and my great-grandmother, Blanche, divorced.
