Hi Peggy, You've come to the right place for Tennessee Outlaws . Mine was Tennessee Porter Outlaw born Nov. 17, 1823 and died in 1902. She married James Franklin Summers on July 4, 1847 in Stewart County Tn. They had several children. If you think this is the one you want, Let me know and I will give you all the info I have. Let us know what you can dig up on your Tennessee Outlaw and maybe some of us can make a connection. Peggy Wow! I may have found yet another cousin! I have a Tennessee Stockdale who married Benjamin Outlaw on ? 27th,1900. This is from the Bible of Seth and Sally McCloud Outlaw who married at Cane Creek on March 15, 1877. Sorry I cannot make out the month of this entry. Benjamin(b.Jan. 26, 1856 d. Feb. 21, 1916) was the first child of Seth and Sally McCloud Outlaw. The info I have is that she was from the Big Sandy area and she is buried in Stockdale Cemetery there. This Tennessee Outlaw was born Nov.5,1874 and died Oct. 25, 1957. Please ask your neice-in-law who her grandparents are! If this is the right Tennessee, I have copies of the family Bible pages and will gladly send them to you. Benjamin had eight brothers and sisters. I know from the genealogy.com Outlaw forum that there are a coupla more Tennessee Outlaw's. One belongs to BJ who posts here and there is another who was from Dickson County. Dave, does this map include Houston Co? My grandparents lived on White Oak Creek and were flooded out. If it does include Houston Co, please put my name on the list to receive a copy. Thanks, Anne

I would appreciate it as well Denise
Does this have anything to do with the TN River? My family was displaced by the TVA. Specifically Guntersville, Alabama.

Dan, I'm not sure what's happened, it's been a long time.....but the ATT account seams to have gone in to the Internet Blackhole. Probably because I switched ISP's and didn't use the ATT account for the past 2 years almost ......ya think ??? Our main DanvilleCrossing Website is at TNDIGS at Rootsweb, but nobody knows that either since I never really told anyone and never put a 'index' page up. All the pages are under individual site names and if you were to go to the site at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndigs/ you'll a blank page and go back to the Rootsweb Parent Directory. However, if you go to: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndigs/wkytn1.htm You start to get an idea of what the site started to look like before I decided to quit working on it awhile back ... (like maybe Feb of 2000).......but not to fear.....I'll get it re-assembled and working again.... Maybe even put Ira's pictures of THE Danville Crossing on it.....since he was so gracious to send them to me.....and now I remeber where the pictures of the Outlaw Store are........maybe I'm not senile after all like Jan.....maybe I'm just old. Anyway, hope that helps. Look here also: some more neat stuff..... http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndigs/henry/cemetery/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndigs/benton/ctycrtmn/ Going to eat diner......
