Hi Lori: I'm sure that Jerry Farless must be related to all the Farless families in my database, but I do not have him included. If you could give me some more info on him (his parents, date of birth, etc.). I will forward your query to our Danville Crossing list. Maybe someone on the list can help you. I can put you in touch with some of the Farless families if you want. LIST MEMBERS: If you can help Lori I'm sure she would appreciate it. Dan Martin' Nashville, TN ---------------- > Subject = Jerry FARLESS > nexturl = http://home.earthlink.net/~dlmartin2/stewart_co_tn/dover.html > from = lorimed99@yahoo.com > message = I got your page when trying to find an obituary, from approximately 1966-1967 of my real fathers, whose name was Jerry Farless. He lived in Dover. I was wondering if you knew him or had any info on how I could get a copy of this obituary? Thank You, Lori -- Have I, therefore, become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Hi, If anybody out there has access to the Benton Co Cemetery listing I'm trying to find a Edney who died there sometime between 1890 & 1900. I don't know his first name but his wife was Martha (listed in the 1900 census as "Sis Edney"). The family went back across the river after that so I don't know how long they stayed in Benton but I'm fairly sure he died there and there may be one child buried there also. If anybody has time to look for this I'd really appreciate it. HarryB

Ronda, I was hoping you may have time to check for William B. Binyon in the sources you have. He was born in 1818 in IL or Henry Co. TN. Was in Gibson Co. in 1843&4. In Henry in 1847. They moved around a lot, so I was hoping he might turn up in your information between 1818-1859. Thanks Angela
The August 5, 1999 issue of the Camden Chronicle carries 2 obits on page 12B. They are Clara Maie (Foust) Hopper (1932-1999) and Elsie Ruth (Melton) Greer (1921-1999). If these are of interest to anyone, I'll extract and send them. JG
Dan Martin, We spoke at the Danville Crossing Homecoming about the Duffel/Hooper connection, I believe. You interviewed me for my Flora Wynn information. I have pictures of Joseph, Henry, Mary Ann Hooper Duffel and their daughter, Mary Duffel Robinson. Would you like a copy of these pictures, if they tie in with your family? I also have one of Flora Wynn. Let me know. Ronda Mrozek rmrozek@yahoo.com tinitiger6@aol.com
Hi Sandra and Dan, The Houston Cemetery is located in Land Between the Lakes. I was at this location in the spring. If you are driving from the Dover area, take the Trace highway (Hwy. 453) until its intersection with Road 214 (Neville Bay Lake access). After turning onto Road 214, the cemetery is a short distance from the intersection. It is on the right hand (south) side of the road. Look for a couple of large (oak?) trees. This cemetery has been cleaned. As I was there in the spring, I do not know if it is mowed right now. I would be happy to show you the location if you need me to. This is what I recorded when I was there: Houston, Lucretia ~~ ? - November 16, 1857 (wife of Henry Houston Sr.) Pool, W. G. ~~ October 17, 1853-December 12, 1887 Houston, ? UNKNOWNS, 7 (PVC crosses provided by Rescue Our Cemeteries Organization) Hope this helps! Kimberly --- "Daniel L. I am searching for more information on the Underwoods that are in the Waynick Cemetery. There are several unmarked graves and I have been told that they are part of my family. I have been to the Dickson site where the pictures are and the cemetery listings is and I need futher information if anyone has it. Thank you, Lola
David, I am at least 1000 messages behind and if I received the message I deleted it without noticing. Sometimes I act dumb and open all messages and other times when I am really far behind I just delete them if they do not have a subject that seems to relate to my lines. It was innocent... When people see a reply and don't know what the original message was... it leaves us wondering.
