    2. Jan, could you look up a William Boggan Nichols who married ? around 1827. My gggrandmother, Sarah Nichols, was born 1829. Her father was married three times and Sarah's mother was the middle wife. Thanks for any help, Anne

My grandfather was Lewis Franklin Herndon who was a brother to Robert Townsend Herndon. Many of the people you mention from the Stewart County area I am familiar with.     3. I don't show any Nancy Merideth's from jefferson Co., TN At this time I still all of my Merideth's in Humphreys County. I cannot determine where they came from before that. My ggggrandfather was born in TN - William Harrison Merideth. His mother is Jemima ? Merideth. I have not been able to prove who she was before or who her husband is. There was a David Merideth that died about 1849 or 1850. That may be him but as I say I can't find the final link.
