This assignment and the possibility that he was Peter Mickelborough Daniel the son of Charles Daniel and Sarah Tate is questionable. Even though PMD has the same stats as the Peter Daniel who was the s/o William and Martha, the Peter who was the son of Charles and Sarah was not the same individual. That Peter married Jane Ann Mayfield and Elizabeth Piner. Does all of this sound familiar : ) ? Now another scenerio. The Peter Daniel who was the son of David Daniel and Margaret Lynch was most likley the Peter who married Sally Lofton. There are many collateral ties between the Loftins and the Lynchs and the Daniels of Davidson County to support this connection.
