    3. Pam, Yes, with all of my POTTER connections, I have looked at Brother Cuthbert POTTER before. I also saw how they cheated him out of his land in VA and how he then fled to Barbados and died, there a year or so later. However, I never could connect him up to my POTTERS of St. Croix but cannot discount any connection to this POTTER family. Early colonial POTTERS were located primarily in New England (New Haven, CT was a hot spot) and NJ (Monmouth County, NJ was a hot spot) with a few others floating around eastern NC, Charleston, SC and the Islands. John POTTER (1765-1849) of Charleston has always been of interest to me because of the name, John POTTER, which floats around my POTTER bunch as an uncle of my GGM, Anne Eliza POTTER (1808-1863), d/o Sir Arthur POTTER and Margaret WHITE of St. Croix. This John POTTER of Charleston married a Sarah FULLER and he was from Ireland, according to Alice GEDGE. This also matches the location (Ireland) I think was the original location of these Middlesex DANIELS, based upon the BILLINGTON assignment. Where it all leads, I do not know. John R.
