    1. Re: [DANIEL-L] Aron Daniel, Mary Stanaland marriage
    2. John R. Clarke
    3. Judy, Aaron seems to be primarily an Eastern NC and Southside, VA name in that period. The BECK family is around the WHITFIELDS, so that checks out. Elizabeth WHITFIELD, born 1730 in Duplin County, NC the d/o William and Mary Elizabeth GOODMAN, married a John BECK. Elizabeth's brother, Matthew, was the father of the Betsy WHITFIELD who married Aaron Daniel, Sr. My bet would be that this Aaron DANIEL of Duplin who married the BECK girl, was probably a cousin of the Aaron DANIEL, Jr who most agree married Mary STANALAND. This Aaron DANIEL of Duplin County, NC may have been out of the Simon DANIEL and Elizabeth ROGERS line because of this Duplin return address for both of them. This BECK girl was also probably a descendant of John BECK and Elizabeth WHITFIELD, because we know this families propensity to marry cousins. I also think this Simon line, as well as the Northampton line, have probably been commingled in various ways with some of these other IOW DANIEL lines, including the Thomas DANIEL and Elizabeth LANIER line.
