Jack, As for the LAMARS, it has been said that the History of GA would have been considerably different without the LAMARS and I have never seen anything to dispute that statement. There are occasionally a few families whose influence on the history rises to a level as to completely overshadow most of their contemporaries and the "Lamar's of Georgia" were one of those families.
