Good morning, I know you realize the RIVERS connection in this Charleston family interests me. I assume you also know of the STAYARNE connection to the RAVENS. The RIVERS I am interested lived across the river on James Island, SC and not that Berkeley County, SC bunch, specifically the RIVERS family with Francis RIVERS as the ancestor. This family has collaterals named ROYALL, SAMRVAYES, probably CAPERS, SHECUT, CROSSKEY, WHITNEY, SIBLEY, MIKELL of Edisto Island, CALDER, HOLMES, GREEN, BECKETT, McLEOD and others of the Charleston, SC area. . It has been said these RIVERS descend from a RIVERS of the Bermuda 100 area in VA but I have been unable to confirm this connection. All of these folks were literate. John R.
