Vickie, I am not a PONDER descendant. The only connection I have to them is my father married one as his first wife. I know some of the PONDERS migrated from York County, SC to Wilkes County, GA and then on to Troup County, GA and back again to Morgan. The PONDERS lived in Rutledge, Morgan County, GA, really Fair Play which is almost in Walton County, and they were one of the wealthiest families in the county. John R.
