    3. Is this Abraham Daniel(1763-1832) mentioned as son-in-law to James Cooper? Abraham married Jane Moore, ca 1796? Their first child was born 1797. He was 33, when he married Jane Moore, so could have been married before.......to the daughter of James Cooper. Abraham is the son of Aaron Daniel RS (1735-1790) and Elizabeth Whitfield(1740-1804). 3. Judy, Yes, that is what got my attention since I too know of those MOORE links in this family. However, there is one thing you have to remember about the kids of Capt. Aaron and Betsy Whitfield DANIEL. There is not one shred of documentary evidence to support the assignment of any of these kids to the family of Aaron and Betsy. As much as many of these families "cooked de books" on this family when they gave their stuff to Folks HUXFORD, we cannot rely on anything from POWG, without some means of substantiating at least some of it. I think John of Pulaski County referenced one of his brothers in a deed, it might have been Abraham or maybe one of the others, but that is the only instance that I know of where we have any proof who they were and their relationship with each other. The rest is noting but a guess, at best...... If this is indeed the Abraham DANIEL we are thinking about, then I think we really need to re-think the assignments of lots of these DANIEL boys. I have always felt something was amiss in this DANIEL family, I just did not know what it was. This may be it..... John R.
