Hello Everyone, I am looking for info on Walter DANIEL b. 1808 in VA. He married Anna JONES 23 Apr 1838 in Williamson Co., TN. They had only one known daughter Paralee b. 04 Mar 1839 in Williamson Co., TN. Paralee married 2nd William Calvin WATKINS 14 Nov 1866 in Williamson Co., TN. William is the son of Joel WATKINS and Judith DANIEL (dau of James DANIEL and Ann VENABLE). I suspect that Walter may be a cousin to Judith. Can anyone help? Kim Ivey <k_ivey@bellsouth.net>

Kim, We have a pretty good idea who your Judith DANIEL was. She was actually Judith Christian DANIEL, d/o James "Chesley" DANIEL (1762-1841) of Granville County, NC and Ann VENABLE of " Brookland ", Granville County., NC. So, if you think your Walter DANIEL: is out of that bunch, that is where I would look. This is a note I had from another researcher of this line. As you know, Judith Christian DANIEL married twice, and once was to Rev. Samuel Lyle GRAHAM, DD of Liberty, Bedford County, Virginia by 1843. She and Rev. GRAHAM had two children born AFT 1843. I have always found this GRAHAM information interesting. Samuel Graham RAMSEY (1771-1817) married Elizabeth Christian FLEMING, d/o Reynolds RAMSEY and Naomi ALEXANDER of Swan Pond, Knox County, Tennessee. Elizabeth was the d/o of Col. William FLEMING and Nancy Ann CHRISTIAN of Roanoke (Bellmont), Roanoke, VA. I have also included the children of Reynolds RAMSEY and Naomi ALEXANDER at the bottom of this message.
