Mike, Yes, I have copies of all of this, thanks, anyway. I also think it was HUMPHREY or HUMPHRIES and not PUMPHREY but that is just my opinion. The HUMPHREY family was around this total bunch, as were the BYNUMS. BTW, her name was "Suk" in the documents I have seen and I think this was probably a nickname for Susannah. I do think this Robert DANIEL, Jr. was my Robert, though, and he may or may not have joined the army but, instead, got his family to cobble up that non-probated will that I have seen listed by some for him. I also think he got out of Dodge in a hurry, too. <grin> This kind of reminds me of my younger days, too, but I ended up in Parris Island, SC and not Greene County, NC. <grin> And, her name was Wilson and not "Suk." <grin> John R.
