Good Morning, One thought on this 1757 will. The DAVENPORT name is generally associated with the McDONALD family and not a DANIEL name, at least, to my knowledge. We also know the McDONALDS were a big time Spotsylvania County, VA family. We also know several COLEMANS were on the same 1786 Religious Petition with William and Robert DANIEL in Orange County, VA. I wonder if these DANIEL boys were actually McDONALDS from Spotsylvania County, VA? More research is needed.... >>> Virginia County Records SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY 1721-1800 WILL BOOK B 1749-1759, page 10 COLEMAN, SPILSBE, Spotsylvania Co., d. Mar. 23, 1757, p. May 3, 1757. Wit. Wm.
