RaNCSw Fri 4 July 1823 3:4. He was a son of Zadock DANIEL & Elizabeth LEWIS of NC and name was John Williams Lewis DANIEL. It would seem this individual may have been a bit old to be a Confederate Officer later on. He supposedly died in 1870 in Milledgeville, Ga. However, that is a rather unique set of initials combination in the name so perhaps this is an earlier relation. Mike Daniel Mike, The one you show is James Williams Lewis Daniel, and he did marry Sarah Ann Graham, but he is not the 32 year old person mentioned.
