Thanks for the clarification, now to your item 4.c Elizabeth Coleman, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Wyatt Coleman. William Daniel Jr., died 1763/64 in Caroline and reportedly his wife Elizabeth Coleman was the daughter of Robert Coleman III and Mary Clayton. Oddly enough his father William Daniel the elder of Caroline died in 1764 by record. William (Bill Brewer Line) Daniel's children were Harrison, Tabitha, and Sallie Daniel. Tabitha married Philip Buckner. Now was there another William Daniel d. 1764 who married Elizabeth Coleman daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Wyatt Coleman. or do we have a mix up between three Williams. This is indeed an interesting dilimea and after 6 months of kicking this around Cousin Joe Daniel and I settled on William Jr'., parents being William Daniel Sr., and Sarah Williams and Jr's., wife being Elizabeth the daughter of Robert Coleman. Good Evening: Let me try to explain to you what I know about the BOLLINGS. There were two BOLLING families. One in Surry/Charles City area (the STITH and ROLFE collateral bunch you listed) and the other lived in the Stafford and Fairfax County, VA area and they were tied to the O'DANIELS. From what I understand, these two families were not the same families, even though some have tried to force them to be the same family. I think this Stafford County bunch may well have been commingled by some researchers with the Surry/Charles City bunch about as bad as some of these DANIELS. So, be careful when you deal with the BOLLINGS. From what I understand, the Surry bunch stayed mostly in Southside and Stafford County, VA is no where near Southside....... John R.
