I do not have info on Jeremiah Daniel (or Daniels) but notice that in Captain McCormack's Militia company of the Kentucky 1812 militia (found on genealogy.com history subscription, it mentions Jeremiah Daniel, Basdel Daniel, and Barton Daniel (all in a row in an non-alphabetized list). In 1818 census of Washington Co., Illinois, heads of families (again, consecutively ) include Jeremiah Daniel, Barton Daniel, Martin Daniel and Robert Daniel. In 1820 census of Bond Co. Illinois, it includes in a row in a non-alphabetized list Martin Daniel, Barton Daniel, Jeremiah Daniel, William Daniel and Delila Daniel. There is also a Robert Daniel on the same page. This puts a hint as to the family did stick together migrating from North Carolina.
