Payne, One of the families that bang into this bunch in Burke County, GA is the KENT family of Craven County, NC and they ended up in Lousyanna, later. They descend from a Thomas KENT (1730-1781) and UNK of Talbot County, MD that migrated to New Bern, Craven County, NC. Their son, Levi KENT married Keziah WADSWORTH, sister of the Nancy WADSWORTH who married John WYSE. The WADSWORTHS were also of Maryland before migrating to Craven County, NC.. As you know, I bounce through people's GEDCOMS that have known family links. In this case the WISE/WYSE bunch. Doing so, I picked up several interesting links in that bunch tied to the DANIELS. One of these was the link of Cornelius CARGILL, Sr. of Cornwall, Lunenburg Co., VA who married Elizabeth DANIELL, d/o John DANIELL, III (1672-1724) and Ann BATES of York County, VA. The other was a link to Phoebe DANIEL, d/o William DANIEL, Sr. and Sarah WILLIAMS who married a Thomas JACKSON of Orange County, VA in 1720. His sister, Sarah JACKSON married William TINSLEY II (ABT 1645-1716) of St. Anne Parish, Essex Co., VA. His parents were Thomas TINSLEY I and Elizabeth RANDOLPH, d/o Sir John of Yorkshire, ENGLAND. From some of the names I saw in this bunch, either of these would smell right for this later DANIEL bunch in either NC or Burke County, GA...... I did look at the KENT information that is available and they tie into the ALBRITTON family - probably the York County, VA bunch tied to the CASONS. I could not get any firm connections but the name pattern looks the same as the bunch that married into the KENTS. I will keep diggin. <grin> John R.
