Hi, This is really interesting. Israel CHRISTIAN was from Augusta County, VA and his daughter, Ann "Nancy" CHRISTIAN (1744-1782) married Col. William FLEMING of Bellmont, Roanoke County, VA. Their daughter, Elizabeth Christian FLEMING (1775-1844) married Samuel Graham RAMSEY. Samuel G. RAMSEY (1771-1817) was the younger brother of Jane RAMSEY (ABT 1765-1851) who married my 4th GGF, Rev. Thomas Means RENEAU RS-VA (1760-1840). Jane and Rev. RENEAU are buried in Blue River TWP, Harrison County, IN. Their son, Louis O. RENEAU, Esq. (1784-1863) married a Jane NORRIS, some say MORRIS but I think NORRIS is correct. Louis, an attorney, and Jane lived in the French Broad River area of Jefferson County, TN and he represented that area in the TN House. The General John SEVIER RS-VA of Augusta County, VA family is also collateral with this bunch. Thomas's brother, Rev. Francis RENEAU RS-VA married John's daughter, Lydia SEVIER. Does any of this sound familiar? <<<< Jane and Samuel Graham RAMSEY were the children of Reynolds RAMSEY RS-MD and Naomi ALEXANDER of Swan Pond, Knox County, Tennessee.
