Thank you, Ruth. The Matheny's and Ellis' are both tied to this family. William (b:abt 1783 NC) mother was Delilah. She had 2 sons that I know of as they are named in her will - William & Barton. She had another son who apparently proceeded her in death as his son is named (Alfred). William had 5 sons, William, Ewing, Barton, Henry, and Robert M. and 4 daughters. I believe that Delilah may have been married to Jeremiah's brother (whoever he is) as Jeremiah and family is always close by in the Illinois census. Jeremiah was in Davidson Co., TN in the early 1800's. I believe that 2 of his sons were named Bazil and Jeremiah. Any information is appreciated.
