If anyone still has any wind left in their sails, I thought I would pass this on from one of the better genealogical researchers in the country. <grin> Their name with held for the obvious reasons. My riff raff did well in tobacco. Now, answer up Annie and John or anyone else interested. Did William Daniel Jr., and Elizabeth Coleman have a son James, and did that James have a son James who married Grizelle Clements? Mike and I suspect so but we need some documentation. Was Edmund (Uster) Daniel connected to Eustis, Eustus, Hustis, or one in the same? Payne, et. al. To get this to fly, you need to find a way to get Mary Elizabeth COLEMAN born 22 Feb 1764 into Elizabeth COLEMAN (1707-1801), wife of William DANIEL of Caroline County, VA, since this Mary married Jesse CLEMENTS, sister of the Griselle CLEMENTS who married James DANIEL. If you can put this Mary E. COLEMAN into the family of Robert COLEMAN III and Mary CLAYTON, then I think you have the necessary information to put James DANIEL, who married Griselle GLEMENTS, into the family of William DANIEL and Elizabeth COLEMAN...... Otherwise, I think not...... John R.
