Faye Daniel Spikes, 86, of Reyno, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in Parkview Rehab and Healthcare in Little Rock. She was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Biggers, a daughter of the late James and Hattie (Johnston) Daniel. Her husband of 49 years, Zaniel Spikes, brothers, Curtis, Troy and Clay "Hawk" Daniel and a sister, Tressie Price Morley, also preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, two daughters, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Darrell Fears officiating. Burial followed in Brockett Cemetery near Pocahontas. Pocahontas Star Herald 2/5/04
