Good Morning, This is a very interesting set of orders from Johnston County , NC. There are no DANIELS listed in these orders but every one of these families are collateral with them in some way or another. The John TARVER listed has to be John, son of Samuel 1 and Mary BOYCE, and he married Sarah ROGERS of Surry County, VA and her brother was the Aaron ROGERS listed in these deeds. Notice also Stephen PETTYPOOL listed in this order. His daughter, Elizabeth married Simon DANIEL, Jr. the son of Simon DANIEL, Sr. and Elizabeth ROGERS. A round robin to me on this whole family. I do not know who William HINTON was but he has to be related to Col. John HINTON, Sr. who was married to Grizelle KIMBROUGH in some way - possibly a brother of John. I would not bet the John CLARK listed is not the father or brother of Gen. Elijah CLARKE (1733-1799) of GA, either, since his oldest boy was named, John. The James WOOTEN listed was James the son of Richard WOOTEN, Jr. and Lucy COUNCIL of IOW County, VA. James married Faitha ROGERS, who has to be a sister of Aaron and Sarah ROGERS, previously mentioned. What I find interesting is the HOLLIMAN listed in these deeds. Martha "Patsy" HOLLIMAN born 1768 in NC married Samuel COLEMAN, son of Daniel COLEMAN, Sr. and Unity CARROLL. His brother was Eden COLEMAN who married Nancy Ann DANIEL in Greene County, GA. Nancy is supposedly the daughter of Thomas DANIEL and Sarah BURNEY of Greene County, GA. The PRICES mentioned in these orders have to be related in some way to the Rice PRICE, later of Washington County, GA who married Mary Jane WHITFIELD, because the WHITFIELDS are tied all over PETTYPOOL deeds. The LOWREYS are also tied to the LANES of Wake County, NC and they, in turn, back to the HINTONS. I think we are looking at a portion of this whole bunch and they are all inter-connected but they are all a part of the same IOW bunch. <<< 1759 At a court held at Hintons Corner, south side of Nuse River.
