    1. Re: [DANIEL-L] Levi Lawrence David Daniell, 1860 AL census
    2. Robert Daniell
    3. Levi Lawrence David DANIEL, who married Eleanor ASPINWALL on 8 July 1845, was the seventh child of John DANIEL, son of William DANIEL of Edgefield Co. SC, and Martha Pearson COOK, widow of Levi DANIELL of Hancock Co., GA. This makes Levi Lawrence a great grandson of William O'DANIEL of Stafford County, VA and grandson of John O'DANIEL of Fairfax Co., VA. Eleanor E. ASPINWALL was a granddaughter of Capt. James BUTTS of Hancock Co. GA, so named in his will. James Levi DANIELL was named executor of this will and in it was given guardianship of Eleanor and $1000 to protect as her legacy. James Levi had married Capt. John BUTTS' daughter, Elizabeth Clements BUTTS on 3 Dec 1818 in Hancock County, GA. Levi Lawrence moved to Barbour County, AL circa 1835 when his half brother, James Levi DANIELL, guardian of Eleanor, son of LEVI DANIEL, and grandson of James O'DANIEL/DANIELL of Fairfield Co., SC and Hancock County, GA, moved to Barbour County. Sarah M. BLOUNT was also in Levi Lawrence's household in the 1850 census of Barbour Co. Her relationship to this DANIEL family, I do not know...yet. Teresa GRIFFIS and I have shared information for several years now. She is my 1C1R. My grandparents, Charles Henry DANIELL (1860-1936) and Mary Melvina BAKER (1861-1946) of Pavo, GA, near Thomasville, are her great grandparents. I was waiting for her to follow up, but she may not be back on line today. Robert DANIELL ----- Original Message ----- From: "John R.
