Teresa, I do not know who they are but they sure sound like part of my DANIEL bunch with that LAWRENCE and BLOUNT names in their family and the given names are almost a perfect match with my bunch in Burke County, GA. Probably cousins of my bunch..... The BLOUNTS were from Edgecombe and PITT and the LAWRENCES were from old Dobbs. Somebody tell me who they are. I think they are O'DANIELS with that Russell County, AL return address but I had a GGA, Lucretia DANIEL (1807-1849) that died in Russell County, AL, too. She had married William Allen TARVER, Sr. The reason I say the LAWRENCES were close is they are tied to the WHITFIELDS, EXUMS, POWERS, BREWERS, COUNCILS, MURPHEYS, etc. all of IOW and they all roll down into eastern NC, later. The BLOUNTS are all over a lot of these eastern NC families - the FLOODS, LANES, TARVERS, WHITMELLS, GRAYS, SMITHS, etc. . John R.
