John, I must have missed something, here. Which George was married to a NIXON. The only NIXON I know around a DANIEL family was in the family of William DANIELL, Sr. (1743-1840) of Clarke, later Oconee County, GA. William was originally from Brunswick County, NC. His son, James DANIELL (1763-1819) RS-NC supposedly married a Sarah NIXON born Onslow County, NC, the d/o John NIXON and Sarah WILLIAMS. James and Sarah supposedly lived and died in Clarke County, GA. James's younger brother, George DANIELL, Sr. (1783-1855), married an Ellen BARBER and they moved to Smith County, TX. I have developed a keen interest in this family of William DANIELL, Sr. of Bogart, Oconee County, GA, of recent and would appreciate any links to any NC family tied them. John R.
