I have often thought this may be a part of the John McDANIEL we see living right next to William and Lucretia Bell DANIEL (O'DANIEL) in Edgefield County, SC in the 1800 time frame. I have often wondered if that are a part of the McDANIELS who are tied to the children of Benjamin and Lucretia Burgamy DANIEL in Laurens County, GA. Just a thought on the latter and I am pretty sure it is the former. I also know there was a Thomas NORRIS who was an Attorney in Edgefield but he died in Morgan County, GA in 1816.
