Payne, I don't know about the OW situation but what I do know is -- I am picking up all kinds of South Carolina DANIELL connections to the names, STANALAND and BECK in the Brunswick County, NC and Horry County, SC area and they sure seem not tied to a DANIEL family, either. We also know an Aaron DANIEL lived in Horry County, SC, later. It makes one wonder where and what family Aaron DANIEL, Jr. of Tattnall County, GA was actually from, doesn't it? I also assume you know why I am all over these areas, as of late. <grin> John R. Yep, I know. One would assume that Aaron Daniel Sr., of "yet to be unproven" Lenoir Co., NC, would be the father of Aaron Jr., of Tyrrell Co., NC, and they moved off to Georgia. What is the story about the sojourn in Horry Co., SC, isn't that the County Charleston is in? Now this is a question I have posed before that has not returned with a satisfactory response. Assume that I don't have a clue and clue me in. Who exactly was John Cason of 1789 and who exactly who was the Robert Daniel his grandson? Pitt County Deed Book M Page 112 Date: Sept. 20, 1788 Probate: 1789 Grantor: John Cason of Pitt County Grantee: Robert Daniel of Pitt County, beloved grandson Description: 100 Acres on the south side of Grindall? Creek?, purchased from Archibald Davis Witnesses: Thomas Daniel Notes: John Cason signed with a mark Enlighten me, Ya'll, Payne ----- Original Message ----- From: "John R.
