Kevin, I show that Robert DANIEL, son of Capt. Reuben DANIEL (1721-1779) and Betty BREEDLOVE, had to be born BED 1748 when Betty died and he died in 1799 but maybe not, since a Robert DANIEL was on Machen guardianship bonds in 1808 in Orange County, VA. As we know, old Reuben married three times -- Betty BREEDLOVE, Authorit MONTEGUE and Elizabeth STEVENS. Authorit was the d/o Peter and Authorit MONTEGUE. Her sister, Elizabeth MONTEGUE married James DANIEL, son of Charles, Jr. and Jane MICKELBOROUGH of Orange County, VA. Reuben was the son of Robert DANIEL and Elizabeth BEVERLY. Reuben and James were cousins but when I see marriages, like this, I think brothers or at the most, first cousins and these two DANIEL boys, as this family is currently laid out, were at best "kissing cousins" - second cousins or more. Something does not smell right in Denmark as relates to these two boys...... Notice also that a Frances BREEDLOVE born 1766 in VA, the d/o Benjamin BREEDLOVE and Mary WATKINS, married John LAMAR (1762-1842) of Clinton, Jones County, Georgia.
