do you know if these's a connection between lewis hines and elizabeth hines/hinds,daniel? littleton's wife. thanks kathy
Good Morning, Yes, there are HINES and TYSON connections. In fact, the first TYSON I carry was married to a HINES. John TYSON (1723-1787) in Pitt County, NC married a Bethany HINES (1725-1792), both died in Pitt County, NC. I do not have any more information on them but the name, Bethany, is a given name in my LANE family of Greene County, NC - Bethany LANE married Isaac PARKER BEF 1800 in Greene or Wayne County, NC. It seems this whole bunch had links between Edgecombe, Wayne, Greene, Pitt, Dobbs, Beaufort and Craven County, NC and I cannot seem to separate them, but it seems that Edgecombe families moved to Greene and Wayne more so than from Pitt County, NC but that is just a guess on my part. This is a list of their children that I have for them but do not know how accurate it is. : Children: i. Sabra 'Susanna' TYSON b: in Pitt County, North Carolina ii.
