Speaking of Jefferson County, AL. I have looked at the John LOVELESS and Martha DANIEL family of Jefferson County, AL very closely in the past. I have often wondered if this Martha DANIEL is the Martha I show in my DANIEL family of Burke County, GA, born 12 Mar 1812. These folks say their Martha was born 12 Jun 1812 but that is close enough. They also have four children whose given names match up with four of Martha's nine siblings - Martha, John, William and Nancy. I would have already made this assignment were it not for the fact the researcher for this LOVELESS family of Jefferson County, AL says their family was from England and the LOVELESS family of Edgefield, SC which is tied to my overall bunch was from Charles County, MD, according to MAY family researchers. Also, none of John and Martha's descendants tie into any of the known families that were collateral with my DANIEL bunch in Burke County, GA, which does nothing to help cement a relationship between my Martha DANIEL and their Martha DANIEL. I also could not match them up "profile wise" with my DANIEL bunch, which is why I have never made this assignment but it is still a possibility. John R.
