I don't know whether or not this James H. Daniel family descends from the Capt. Allen Daniel family of Madison County, GA, but it's possible. Hi, Dan, Thanks for responding to this inquiry. I can tell you that your John Daniel does NOT descend from Capt. Allen Daniel of Madison County, Georgia. His children were born in Virginia well before 1800, and probably before or right after the Rev War. None of his descendants were ever known to migrate into Tennessee, just west into Mississippi and Texas.
