Ret. Air Force Sr. Master Sgt. Lynn C. Daniel, age 86, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006. He served in WWII and Korea. He received 2 Purple Hearts, 1 Bronze Star, 2 Silver Stars and numerous awards. He was a member of the VFW Lodge number 6330 and the American Legion Post number 258. He was a Life Member of both organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Frank Hopkins of Marietta; daughter, Phyllis Daniel of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Ima Daniel of Peachtree City; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Don Regan of Jackson; sons, Allen Keith Daniel of Orlando, Floyd Kelly Daniel of Jackson; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Chaplains John Powledg and Jim Montgomery will officiate. Interment Camp Memorial Park.
