Well, Mike, I have checked on some further sources on William and James, and find that most sources say that the two brothers did not move to GA until about 1791, 14 years later than the birth date of my 1786 Thomas. The major sources, "Back To Old Virginia with Dillard, Daniel and Kin" and of course, "The Cunnnghams of Cub Creek" and old Worth Ray. I don't know why my 1786 Thomas would have any reason to have mis-stated his birth location in GA as he always did, so I guess I was on the wrong track here. The Ellener Caldwell,who with her husband, Thomas, witnessed the Elder James Donnel/Daniel's will in 1763, I believe to be a (maiden name) Vernon. Several Vernon women around that time and before, married Tinsley women (and vice versa) one of them, Sarah Tinsley, an aunt of my Sarah Tinsley (b. 1756,VA, wife of my John Faulkner,b.VA1750, my fourth great in my direct Faulkner line) has been confused by some Vernon researchers with my 1756 Sarah, and they got mad when I tried to correct them and have since refused to acknowledge my queries.
