I have Mathias Tobias Swanner's will and a book on his descendants. I just can't find anything on the parents or siblings of Cynthia Ann Daniel (b. 1810 TN d. bet. 1855-1860 MO) who married James Swanner (b. 1790 Martin Co., NC d. Scott Co., MO 1842). Cynthia and James married in Marshall County, TN 5 Mar 1838. They had a son, Marshall Green Swanner (b. 1834 according to census in NC and d. Pemiscott County, MO in 1899) James Swanner's son, Enoch Gray Swanner, is my great great grandfather and I am trying to verify which of James Swanner's wives was his mother. James was 1st mar. to Anna Cherry in NC 1815/1816 in Beaufort County. My middle name is Grey as was my grandfathers. I am trying to find the connection among the DANIEL/SWANNER/GRAY families.
