Hi again, Robert, Sort of inevitable, if I had just waited a day - I did a hit and run today on my library to return some books and dashed off a bit from the Wilkes tax books, not complete, but enough: In 1785 Thomas Burton Sr and Jr are next to each other, #10 and 11 on the list) in that district called AAA, and Walt Nunnery [sic] is #56. In 1785 the only Daniels listed, in various other districts, are Thomas, Edward (actually it's Edmond), and Benjamin. In 1786 Thomas Burton Sr is in AAA #7 and Wm Daniel is #5, no Nunn----. In 1787 Wm Daniel is #5, Thomas Burton is #6 and #7, and Walter Numlee [sic] is #44. Looks better that this is the right group of folks in the right place. If your Hatcher person needs Hatcher extractions let me know the front name and I'll get them (in the next couple weeks).
