A more realistic interpretation, however, is probably that folks on the list who read the post don't know of any connection - which is, unfortunately, not at all the same thing. -----Original Message----- From: Paul and Marce [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, June 04, 2006 6:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [DANIEL-L] 1820 Washington Co., GA Census - Thomas DANIEL So, no one on the list has any connection to Thomas (or Francis) DANIEL of the 1820 Washington Co. GA Census? That's actually a little encouraging - by process of elimination.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul and Marce" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 03, 2006 1:31 PM Subject: [DANIEL-L] 1820 Washington Co., GA Census - Thomas DANIEL > What is known of the Thomas DANIEL that appears in the 1820 Washington Co. > Census? Sorry, Doyle, but the Thomas and Francis DANIEL (both males and heads of households) living in Washington County, GA in 1820 have no connection whatsoever to your Ezekiel DANIEL, Sr., 1788-1858 (SC>GA>MS). Your Ezekiel, Sr., and second wife, Nancy GARRETT did have a son named Thomas DANIEL, but he was not born until cir 1828 in Morgan County, GA, so could not possibly be the adult Thomas in Washington County, in 1820. Ezekiel, Sr., and Nancy also had a child named Frances DANIEL, born cir 1830 also in Morgan County, GA, but she was a DAUGHTER, therefore could not possibly be the adult MALE Francis DANIEL in Washington County, GA in 1820. Keep in mind that neither your Ezekiel DANIEL, Sr., nor any of his three wives, nor any of his 15 children lived in Washington County, GA -- NEVER EVER.
