My Daniel family had members that lived in Grayson, Denton and Cooke Counties TX, also my John Daniel was owed some money from Levi Hurst iaw his estate settlement in 1860. In 1830 Jesse and Levi Hurst of Wayne County TN lived next door to Avis Daniel and William Daniel family, one of which is the parent of my John, Lott and William I am researching. Levi lived in Itawamba Cnty MS across the county line from my John in Old Tishomingo County MS later. Levi must have been a preacher or elder in a church since he had paid $10 to perform marriages in MS. Is this just a coincidence or our families connected in some way to different Hurst families? Later there is a Hurst household in Potawatomie County OK as a land broker very near my Grandfathers place in the Wanette area.
