Actually I was searching for a Daniel/Shelton connection way, way down in TX when I ran into my other maternal line (NC/GA Faulkner married an SC Hurst in MS), saw the early Mary Daniel. and inquired. Payne, of course, had everything under control, and answered this morning. Don't know why this researcher has Ralph, Jr's mother as a Pollard (not so, per Payne). Tried to reach her, but e-mail is no longer valid.
