    1. Montgomery county, NC> Daniel deed.

    3. Montgomery county, NC. Deed mentios Isham Harris and Nathan Almond near an Old cabin called Barton Daniels. Nathan Almond also spelled Almon was from Isle of Wight. I think Isham Harris was also from IOW. But he seems to be around the Granville Daniel bunch as well. Possibly Rober Daniel. Gladys gave me permission to post what she has found so far on this line. I am hopeing someone can help fill in the blanks. Deeds 1774-1795 (Partial volume, pgs 94-180) On page 3 of of this book I found: Page 125 - 13 October 1794 - Isham Harris to Nathan Almond - 20 pds - 100 acres - lying on both sides of Little Bear Creek including an old cabin called Barton Daniels Cabin. Wit: Thos. Randle Isham Harris Green (x) Kimbal I think the Barton spoken of here is Barton (ca 1750's) who was Delila (ca 1750's) husband?? The DANIEL men I think you are talking about came from: Tennessee Genealogical Records (Davidson County Pioneers) Revolutionary & War of 1812 Soldiers page 31 In Capt. McCormack's Militia Company 1645. Jeremiah Daniel 1646. Basdel Daniel 1647. Barton Daniel [The book is called Pioneers of Davidson County and it was compiled by Edith Whitley. This is not a list of soldiers from the War of 1812. It is a list taken from Davidson County Court records of an "Enumeration of the Free Male Inhabitants of Davidson County." At that time the county was not divided into districts for taxation purposes. It was instead divided by "militia companies." The men listed are named because they were free adult males and taxable. Some of them did have service in the War of 1812 but not all. ] The three above [Jeremiah (1778 NC), Basdel or Baswell/Bazel/Basil (ca 1779), & Barton (1788 SC)] I believe to be brothers Delila Daniel Probate Record Fayette Co IL Box 179 Packett 11 heirs: John Smith (Dec 23, 1840 received 13.50), Dellila Smith (Dec 23, 1840 received 13.50), Elizabeth Inman (Dec 23, 1840 received 13.50), William Daniel (Dec 23, 1840 received 13.50), Barton Daniel (Dec 23, 1840 received 13.50), Henry Smith (Dec 24, 1840 received doesn't give amount), Bejamin Elam (Jan 16, 1841 received 3.90) Adm.
