You folks haven't been straining your gray cells lately so take a shot at this. Payne Isaiah Daniel of Orange County, NC., married to Charlotte Price King and Mary Whittaker. Some suggest that he is a son of Gillum or Hugh Daniel probably of the Marmaduke Daniel/Sarah Family? This is the only Isaiah in my data base and I can't pin him down to a specific family. This shows Hugh with 120 acres, Anderson with 120 acres, Isaiah with 120 acres, James with 100 acres, Pinkney 100 acres. Also shows a Campbell with 100 acres. This land was in Chatham County."
